Engineering activities for offshore pipelines, including both single pipe systems and Pipe-in-Pipe (PIP) solutions, include routing studies based on nautical charts or Digital Terrain Models (DTM), geohazard identification, assessment of metocean loads such as currents, waves, and tides, interpretation of geophysical and geotechnical data for pipe-soil interaction analyses, as well as the evaluation of third-party interference such as fishing gear and dropped objects.

Additional activities include material selection studies, preparation of material requisitions, complete mechanical design, on-bottom stability analysis, stress analysis, free-span assessment, operational and upheaval buckling analyses, crossing design, and the engineering of special intervention solutions.

Tecnoconsult also performs pipeline installation analyses using S-Lay, J-Lay, towing, and shore pull methodologies, as well as the preparation of technical tender documentation, including FEED documentation and EPIC Scope of Work.

All engineering activities are carried out using internationally recognized software, certified engineering tools, and proprietary in-house utilities, ensuring the highest quality standards and the delivery of reliable, structured engineering services.
