In recent years, LNG has become one of the world's leading technologies for natural gas transportation, enabling the connection between production sites and consumption markets regardless of geographical distance.

Within this context, TECNOCONSULT has developed specialist expertise in the engineering design of LNG terminals and regasification technologies.

Building on its extensive offshore experience and expertise in the design of oil marine terminals, Tecnoconsult specializes in the development of offshore LNG terminals, steel platforms, conventional jetty and quay berthing systems, GBS (Gravity Base Structures), and FSRU (Floating Storage and Regasification Units).

LNG terminals perform a wide range of operational functions, including LNG Carrier berthing, product loading and unloading, LNG storage in cryogenic tanks at approximately -160°C, regasification through vaporizers, gas transfer to the transmission network, gas conditioning, and metering operations.

Tecnoconsult's engineering expertise includes LNG Process Design, process simulations, development of operating and control philosophies, equipment selection, BOG (Boil-Off Gas) Management system design, Ship-to-Ship transfer systems, and vaporization technology assessments.

The company also performs specialist studies related to LNG Carrier mooring and manoeuvring, safety analyses, QRA, fire protection system engineering, Fire & Gas Detection systems, and environmental studies covering gas dispersion and thermal radiation.

Tecnoconsult also provides engineering services for Wobbe Index systems, electrical and instrumentation engineering, electrical load estimation, control system architecture, cause-and-effect matrices, and export gas systems including metering stations.

The company's expertise also covers the design of small-scale LNG services, including truck loading and ship reloading systems, delivering complete, efficient, and internationally compliant engineering solutions.
