Tecnoconsult carried out the Feasibility Study for a subsea field development system comprising five production clusters, rigid and flexible infield flowlines connected to an FPSO, and a gas export pipeline linking the offshore facilities to an onshore processing plant.

The scope of work covered the entire concept selection phase, including the preparation of the ITT (Invitation to Tender) packages for the subsequent FEED engineering activities.

The primary objective of the study was to identify the most suitable development concept for the OPL245 field.

To achieve this objective, several development scenarios were evaluated, considering different system architectures, pipeline diameters, thermal insulation requirements for the production flowlines, and alternative offshore development concepts.

For each configuration, Tecnoconsult developed field layouts, system architecture diagrams, flow assurance studies, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and pipeline sizing.

The engineering activities covered all the major technical aspects of the project, including pipeline sizing, on-bottom stability analyses, pipe-soil interaction assessments, free-span evaluations, operational buckling verification, and preliminary layability analyses for gas export pipelines, production flowlines, and water injection lines.
