Tecnoconsult SoW: FEED Engineering of New 30-inch Multiphase Trunkline and Infield Pipelines
The LAM and ZHDANOV fields produce oil and condensate together with associated gas from a series of stacked sandstone reservoirs.
The Client planned the development of the fields through the drilling of new offshore wells. In line with the long-term production strategy and future drilling campaigns, the project included the construction of a new 30-inch offshore trunkline and a new 30-inch infield pipeline for the multiphase transportation of production fluids from the new wells to the onshore processing facilities.
The new 30-inch main trunkline connects the new BLOCK 5 (B005) platform to the existing onshore Central Process Facilities (CPF), with a total length of approximately 30 km offshore and 10 km onshore.
The project also includes a new 30-inch infield pipeline connecting the existing trunkline from the BLOCK 2 (B002) platform to the new B005 platform, with an overall offshore length of approximately 4 km.
Tecnoconsult carried out the FEED engineering for both the 30-inch infield pipeline between the B002 and B005 platforms and the 30-inch trunkline connecting the B005 platform to the onshore CPF.
The engineering activities included process studies, offshore pipeline engineering, and topside facilities design, providing an integrated and multidisciplinary approach to the overall project development.
