Contract Area 1 is located in water depths ranging from 10 to 40 metres and covers a total area of approximately 67.2 km², divided into the three main fields of Amoca, Miztón, and Tecoalli.

The project involved the development of the offshore fields with the objective of achieving first production from the Miztón field during the first quarter of 2019, in accordance with the development schedule agreed between Eni and the Mexican Government.

To accelerate project execution, the development strategy relied on the use of existing infrastructure while minimizing modifications to the offshore facilities.

Tecnoconsult carried out the FEED Design for the pipeline systems, addressing major engineering challenges including pipeline routing optimization due to the presence of sand waves, spool stress analysis under liquefaction conditions, and the definition of mitigation measures through the use of mud mats beneath the spools.

Tecnoconsult also performed the review of the Detailed Design prepared by the T&I contractor, providing technical support throughout both the engineering and offshore installation phases.

The scope of work included the review of the contractor's detailed engineering documentation, preparation of technical notes, technical support for the evaluation of TQs, DRs, IRs, and major deviations, as well as specialist assistance for HDD engineering activities and the related offshore operations.
