Tecnoconsult SoW: Detailed Design for Pipeline and HDD

The Lakach gas field is located in the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 93 km southeast of the city of Veracruz, in water depths ranging from 850 to 1,300 metres.

The Lakach field development consists of a subsea production system with manifold clusters connected to seven subsea wells and approximately 65 km of dual 18-inch flowlines designed to transport gas to the onshore processing facilities.

Tecnoconsult was involved in the finalization of the pipeline route, wall thickness design, on-bottom stability analyses, stress analysis, fatigue assessment, and the engineering of intervention works.

The scope of work also included the design of the shore approach using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) technology, which was essential for connecting the offshore pipeline to the onshore facilities.

Tecnoconsult also provided technical support during the procurement of pipeline materials and assisted in the technical evaluation of bids related to the execution of the HDD works.
