Tecnoconsult SoW: Process Safety Detailed Design for EPC

The Karish project involves the initial development of three wells in the Karish Main (KM) reservoir, connected to a four-slot subsea manifold.

The manifold is connected to an offshore FPSO through two Lazy Wave Steel Catenary Riser systems, where the production fluids are processed.

The development plan utilizes the FPSO to process gas and condensates, ensuring the delivery of sales gas and light oil/condensate in accordance with the required product specifications. Condensates are exported via tandem offloading to dedicated shuttle tankers.

A subsea gas export pipeline approximately 90 km long also departs from the FPSO, transporting gas to the onshore valve station at Dor, Israel.

The system also includes an onshore pipeline connecting the Coastal Valve Station (CVS) to the Dor Valve Station (DVS), followed by a tie-in to the Israeli National Gas Transmission System.

Tecnoconsult carried out the Detailed Design of the gas pressure reduction system and the gas metering system, together with the main process safety engineering activities.

The scope of work included the development of the HSES philosophy, hazardous area classification, SIL workshops for safety and control loops, HAZOP studies, Fire & Gas system design, fire protection engineering, contributions to QRA studies, and support for RAM analyses.
