The new subsea pipeline system includes an infield gas sealine connecting the Izabela North platform to the main Izabela South platform, together with a new gas export pipeline linking Izabela South to the existing Ivana K platform.

The main project features include a 16-inch concrete-coated gas pipeline transporting gas from Izabela South to the Ivana K platform, with a total length of approximately 26 km.

The project also includes a 10-inch concrete-coated gas pipeline connecting Izabela North to Izabela South, approximately 2.9 km long, together with a 3-inch piggyback pipeline installed on the 10-inch line for the transportation of oily water between the two platforms.

The scope also included the installation of 16-inch, 10-inch, and 3-inch spools for the connection of the existing risers on the Izabela North, Izabela South, and Ivana K platforms.

Tecnoconsult prepared the Pipeline Installation Manuals for the 16-inch sealine and the 10-inch + 3-inch piggyback pipeline system.

The engineering activities included installation-oriented verification of the detailed design, metrology spool verification, configuration of the lay barge firing line and stinger, engineering of the main installation operations including Start-Up, Lay-Down, and Normal Laying, static and dynamic analyses, definition of contingency scenarios, and weld repair analyses.

Tecnoconsult also designed the Pipeline Pulling Heads and provided technical assistance during the preparation of the offshore installation procedures.
