Tecnoconsult SoW: Conceptual, Basic and FEED Engineering for Gas Export Pipeline
The OCTP license is located approximately 60 km offshore in the Western Region of the Republic of Ghana.
Within the OCTP license area, the Joint Venture made three major non-associated gas discoveries: Sankofa Main in 2009, Gye Nyame in 2011, and Sankofa East in 2012, together with two oil discoveries in the Cenomanian and Campanian reservoirs of the Sankofa East area.
Tecnoconsult became involved from the Concept Definition stage and subsequently carried out the Basic Study for the subsea field development system.
The project included flexible infield flowlines connecting oil production wells, water injection wells, gas injection wells, and gas production wells to an FPSO, together with a gas export pipeline designed to transport gas to the onshore processing facilities.
Following the offshore survey campaigns, Tecnoconsult performed the FEED engineering activities, starting with the interpretation of geophysical and geotechnical survey results together with comprehensive geohazard assessment studies.
The objective of the FEED phase was to develop the complete engineering package for both the offshore and onshore pipelines, enabling the Client to prepare the Invitation To Tender (ITT) documentation for the subsequent installation activities.
The scope of work included routing studies, pipeline engineering design, on-bottom stability assessments, integration with the subsea production system, and multidisciplinary coordination of both the offshore and onshore project infrastructure.
