Tecnoconsult SoW: Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for Project Execution
PT Pertamina Persero planned the replacement of an existing SPM system and its associated subsea pipeline with a new system comprising an SPM, a PLEM, and two 32-inch subsea pipelines.
The new SPM was designed for installation offshore, off the northeastern coast of West Java, approximately 15 km from the Balongan Refinery in Indonesia, in a water depth of approximately 26 metres.
The system was designed to accommodate crude oil offloading operations from tankers of up to 165,000 DWT.
Tecnoconsult provided Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services throughout the different execution phases of the project.
The scope of work included technical assistance during clarification meetings with bidders, review of the detailed engineering for the offshore pipelines, and evaluation of the installation analyses prepared by the Installation Contractor.
Tecnoconsult also reviewed the detailed engineering for the SPM and PLEM systems developed by the SPM Contractor, ensuring full technical compliance with the project requirements.
Additional activities included supervision of geotechnical survey campaigns, monitoring of fabrication activities, offshore installation, and the pre-commissioning and commissioning of the pipelines, the SPM system, and the PLEM.
